Open to the community. Our guest speakers are Kimberly Stewart and Dr. Lacey Stelle. Kimberly Stewart RN,BSN,CBCN has been a Breast Navigator at AAMC for 13 years. Kim is a graduate of the University of Maryland Nursing School. Dr. Lacey Stelle is the Breast Surgery Fellow at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Stelle attended the University of Illinois for her undergraduate degree, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She then completed medical school at Southern Illinois University, followed by General Surgery Residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Illinois.

Open to the community. Ms. Slaughter will talk about the mission and work of The Bernie House and her work supporting victims of domestic violence by creating a transitional home for a family fleeing an abusive situation. Enjoy an evening out and learn more about The Bernie House.

Open to the community. These are timely topics given recent news events concerning prominent public figures. Learn what is going on in Maryland to help survivors, hold perpetrators accountable, and prevent abuse and assault.
Guests and prospective members are invited to join us to learn more about how MLAW and its member organizations work to advance legislation and SALI which provides comprehensive legal services to survivors of sexual violence statewide.
MLAW is a state-wide coalition of women's groups and individuals formed to provide a non-partisan, independent voice for Maryland women and families. MCASA/SALI (Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault Legal Institute) provides comprehensive legal services to survivors of sexual violence statewide, as well as training and technical assistance for professionals working with survivors

The Zonta Club of Annapolis is the local chapter of Zonta International, a worldwide organization of persons promoting the status of and empowering women through service and advocacy.
We invite persons in the community who are interested in learning more about joining Zonta at this New Member Reception. All persons over the age of 18 years, living or working in Anne Arundel County and its vicinity, are invited.
The New Member Reception offers prospective members the opportunity to learn about the mission and activities of the Zonta, as well as the chance to speak with current members about their volunteer and social experiences within the organization.

Captain Pablo Burgos-Ramos is the featured speaker at the Zonta Club of Annapolis' January commemoration of former Zontian Amelia Earhart. Captain Burgos-Ramos, Commander of the Col. Mary S. Feik Composite Squadron in Edgewater, will speak about the role of the Civil Air Patrol and what his Squadron is currently doing in Edgewater to empower youth to become better citizens and challenge themselves in the Aerospace Education, Emergency Services and Cadet Programs arenas. We're having a dinner fundraiser at Galway Bay at 63 Maryland Avenue in Annapolis on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. A special three course dinner menu will be offered and, for each dinner ordered from that menu, Galway Bay will make a donation to our club. For $25 plus tax/gratuity you get a great dinner and support our club's scholarships and service projects. Reservations are suggested but not required.
